By using porcelain slip, paper like qualities are created in the form of wall hangings. With the techniques used, the clay can take on the paper thin characteristics of old letters. Edges are slightly worn and frayed, and surface colours are mottled.

Ambiguous stories are pieced together from selections of photographs letter, and other vintage paper sources. These narratives are then hand etched into the greenware surface. Oxides are then rubbed in post bisque firing.

Speckles of glaze are used to highlight areas and allow for gold luster application. Seemingly random glistens adorn the surface, representing fond memories that can live on and be kept preserved on the porcelain surface.
